Pricing Policy

 

Prices are displayed on Tea Shop’s website in Australian Dollars. Tea Shop is currently based in Australia. Tea Shop process all payments through PayPal. Eligibility to purchase We accept PayPal, Visa and MasterCard payments. Purchasing products on Tea Shop is only available to individuals who meet our terms of eligibility.

 

All purchasers must be over 18 years of age. All purchasers must have been issued with either a valid credit card by a bank or have a valid PayPal account. The individual’s application to open an account must be acceptable to Tea Shop and the individual agrees to authorise PayPal, (on behalf of Tea Shop) to process the charge or charges on their credit card or PayPal account in the amount of the total purchase price for the merchandise which they purchase.

 

By making an offer to purchase merchandise, you expressly authorise PayPal, (on behalf of Tea Shop) to perform credit checks to validate your credit card, to obtain an initial credit card authorisation and to authorise individual purchase transactions. Furthermore, you agree that PayPal, on behalf of Tea Shop, may use personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti-fraud checks. Personal information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information. Order approval

 

After you place your order, you will be sent an email confirming that it has been received and your credit card or PayPal account has been charged. Your card is debited at the time you submitted your order at PayPal or on our website. If your order has not been approved you will be notified immediately via our website or by PayPal.

 

In the rare instance that your order is approved but any of the items you have ordered are not available, we will contact you immediately by phone or email to arrange for a full refund or product exchange if preferred. Unless you cancel your order, acceptance of your order and completion of the contract between you and Tea Shop will be completed when we email you to confirm the goods have been dispatched.

 

Tea Shop’s website and communication is always conducted in English and therefore the final sale contract will also be in English. We reserve the right not to accept your order in the event, for example, that we are unable to obtain authorisation for payment, that shipping restrictions apply to a particular item, that the item ordered is out of stock or does not satisfy our quality control standards and is withdrawn, or that you do not meet the eligibility criteria.

 

Payment

 

We accept PayPal, Visa and Mastercard payments. We also accept orders via email. Simply contact us to let us know what you’d like to purchase and your method of payment. We will contact you to discuss your order. To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Tea Shop uses GeoTrust Secure Socket Layering (SSL), the industry standard encryption technology that ensures safe Internet transmission of your personal and credit card information.

 

Cancellation by us At Tea Shop we will do our best to ensure your order is fulfilled. However, we reserve the right to cancel the order if one or other of the following circumstances apply:

  • we do not have sufficient stock to deliver the goods you have ordered.
  • we do not deliver to your area or country In the event of cancellation, we will contact you by e-mail, or phone (excluding weekends and public holidays)

 

If we cannot fulfil the order we will re-credit your account immediately. Tea Shop will re-credit your account for the value of the goods and shipping only. Tea Shop does not reimburse any bank charges you may have incurred in the transaction. Please note card refunds may take up to 10 business days for your bank to complete depending on their processing time. This can vary greatly between card issuers and unfortunately we are unable to influence this.

 

Cancellation by you Tea Shop aims to ship any orders received before 2pm the following day, (excluding weekends and public holidays). If you contact us and the order has already shipped we cannot cancel the order. However if the order has not been roasted, blended & packaged and/or shipped Tea Shop will happily cancel the order and credit your account. To cancel your order before it is shipped we encourage you to contact us immediately via mycupoftea@teashop.net.au

 

Delivery

 

We aim to dispatch orders made before 2pm the following day however we cannot dispatch all orders immediately. Reasons Tea Shop cannot dispatch an order the same day are as follows:

  • All our unique blends are made to order and not mass produced. Order was placed on a weekend or public holiday (and will be dispatched within the next 2 business days)
  • Order could not be fulfilled i.e. item is yet to be made
  • Courier delays or unavailability
  • We are unable to source our chosen organic ingredients In the event an order cannot be fulfilled Tea Shop will contact you to arrange an alternative product or refund.

 

Tea Shop cannot be held responsible for circumstances out of our control. Estimated delivery times are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Tea Shop is not responsible for any delays caused by destination customs clearance processes. See our Delivery Information section for more information of delivery timeframes.

We at Tea Shop have the utmost respect for your privacy. We will not violate this philosophy. Any information that we gather from our visitors will be compiled anonymously and used solely for our statistical purposes to help us improve the shopping experience for our customers. If you don’t want to be contacted, make sure you tick the appropriate box as you go through the registration process. You can unsubscribe from our contact list at any time by replying to a promotional e-mail with the word “unsubscribe” in the subject line.

Sign up to receive our newsletter in the footer of all pages on our website so you don’t miss out. We currently send our packages via Australia Post and Courier. Delivery time frames We endeavour to dispatch all orders within two business days.

 

Delivery time will vary depending on the destination address.
